What BillDelta collects
BillDelta collects the bills you choose to upload, the provider you select, any service constraints you enter, technical funnel events, and—only if you provide it—your email address. Payment card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by BillDelta.
Why we use it
We use uploaded bills to compare successive statements, identify supported changes, create the free preview, prepare a paid report when purchased, prevent fraud, provide support, and improve extraction accuracy. We do not sell uploaded bill contents or use them to build advertising audiences.
AI and service providers
Document contents may be processed by contracted infrastructure, AI-analysis, payment, and hosting providers acting for BillDelta. Bill documents are treated as untrusted data and are used only for the requested analysis and operations described here.
Retention and deletion
Original uploaded documents are stored in private object storage and scheduled for deletion no later than 30 days after upload. A scan-specific deletion control may be used sooner. Transaction, consent, audit-status, and legally required accounting records may be kept longer. Backups and security logs may take additional time to expire.
Security and minimization
BillDelta uses encrypted transport, non-public document storage, access controls, randomized document keys, and limited retention. Do not upload provider passwords, banking credentials, full payment-card information, or documents unrelated to the requested bill analysis.
Customer communication
The email address supplied during checkout may be used to deliver the purchased report and provide service-related support. BillDelta does not currently enroll audit customers in an automated marketing sequence.
Your choices
You may request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of applicable personal information by emailing hello@getbilldelta.com. We may need to verify the request before acting.
